Performance measurement is important in business operations because it allows companies to know how well they are doing and where they need to improve. It also helps them make more informed decisions about their future.
One measurement tool I chose that does not relate to my CLC is the balanced scorecard. The balanced scorecard is a set of metrics that allow companies to measure their performance in four areas: financial, customer, internal process, and learning and growth. I chose this tool because it’s a very common one used by many companies today, and it has been proven effective at helping companies improve their performance (by helping them focus on what matters most).
